November is Rotary Foundation Month
November is Rotary Foundation Month. Work with your DRFC and District Leadership to feature the good your clubs are doing in the world. In this month’s Public Image goals, emphasize your club’s engagement in Global and District Grants and promote People of Action in all you do. Use some of the tidbits from Zone 33’s PI team: “TRF 52 Week Messages” in your newsletters and posts.
PI TIP OF THE MONTH: Rotary International Convention Promotion Kit
Help highlight and promote the 2020 International Convention. Rotary has created an online promotional kit with digital files for you to help you promote the annual convention! https://www.riconvention.org/

SAVE THE DATE: The 2020 Zone Team Training Seminar, will be held at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Arrival date is April 30th, the training begins at noon on May 1st and concludes at noon on May 2nd. Please advertise this now among your clubs and district leaders. This is valuable training for all – Public Image, Foundation, and Membership.

October is Economic & Community Development Month
and World Polio Day is October 24.
Remember to post your World Polio Day event photos to Facebook and Instagram.
Also, remember there is a video on the Zone 33 YouTube channel, (Rotary Zone 33 TV). That video shows how to create these on Brand Center. You will need to opt in to your My Rotary account.

Create People of Action photos with Key Messages on Facebook and in print media. A Public Service Announcement about Rotary would be very appropriate as well!
This month our key message should be our vision statement: Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Attached are photos created with the People of Action tool on in Rotary Brand Center. You can create your own messages, use your own photos to advertise the awesome service projects your club offers.

This month’s video is on using Canva to create Posters, Flyers, and just about anything else you may need. This is a free program that allows you to upload Rotary’s official colors, fonts and logo to create awesome print media.
