Also known as the Mountain State E-club, Rotary E-Club of District 7530 was chartered in 2012. According to Rotary International, the purpose of a Rotary e-club is “to extend Rotary to business, professional and community leaders in any Rotary District who are unable to meet traditional attendance requirements.” Meetings are attended online, however, service projects are completed “boots to the floor”!

NEW MEMBERS INDUCTED
October 30, 2018 – Rotary E-Club of District 7530 (Mountain State Rotary E-Club) inducted two new members at a recent meeting held at the WVU Evansdale Crossing building in Morgantown.
Although most club business is conducted online throughout the year, the club meets traditionally to welcome new members and host District leaders.
We welcome the club’s youngest member, Savannah Ashworth, a senior at West Virginia University. Sponsored by E-Club founding president and current Membership Chair, Richard Phalunas, Savannah will be attending graduate school at WVU.
Club President Diana Martinelli welcomed new member Katie Spears. Also a student at WVU, Katie has been active in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program for many years. She was sponsored by Dennis Shreve.
CHILDREN’S BOOKS SERVICE PROJECT
September 1, 2018 – The e-club provides children’s books to the North Central WV Community Action Assistance program in Kingwood. Fifty books were delivered in July, with another 50 delivered in August. We are accepting new or gently used children’s books for the next month’s delivery. This is an ongoing project, with books delivered every month. Contact president, Diana Martinelli at msre.org/clubexecutives if you are interested in donating books.
